    peer review #3

it is the last peer review of the semester, and I get to take a look at Sara Wong’s Ends Meet. I love that this website is my last peer review, because Sara was the first person I was paired up with in our first publishing class together!  I really, really like the concept behind Sara’s blog. I think it is so cool that she has found a way to take her passion of food, and mix it with the current state of the world, as restaurants experience the impact of the pandemic.  The first post I decided to take a look at is titled, Restaurant Review: Sushi Bar Kilala.…

a list of things that will always make me feel good

As I approach the end of my FINAL semester of university, I have become overwhelmed, stressed, and unmotivated. I am so over doing classes through Zoom, and I am so ready to be done. However, thinking about the future is a little terrifying, and it definitely has been occupying my mind lately. Because of all this stress, my body and mind are definitely feeling the repercussions. I decided that I would write out a list of things that will always make me feel good, and return to it whenever I am in need of something to cheer me up/allow me to relax.  making a latte walking my dogs some form…

Finding my community… It can be difficult to keep up with posting content on here, when you feel like literally no one is listening. However, I understand that my website is very new, and it takes time to build things that are meaningful and authentic. It is important for me to consider how I can reach out to my targeted audience. I imagine that my audience is filled with individuals who are passionate about self-care, and focussing on wellness. I also want to reach individuals who may be thinking about starting their wellness journey, but don’t know where to start. I have been thinking about starting a monthly newsletter that…

am I turning into a yogi?

I can’t believe I am admitting this, but I really like yoga. Now, this has not always been the case. As someone with a mind that never seems to turn off, I was never able to fully experience the benefits of practicing yoga. However, things have changed. As you can see from some of my other blog posts, the pandemic has introduced many different things into my life. One of them being a new love for yoga. Like I mentioned before, I never liked yoga. When I had the time to do a workout, I would never even think of doing a yoga class. I love doing strength and cardio…

5 accounts I love right now

I thought I would share some of the Instagram accounts that I have enjoyed adding to my feed. These accounts keep me motivated, inspired, and feeling good about myself 🙂  @samiclarke Sami Clarke is a fitness/wellness influencer that I follow on both Instagram and YouTube. Basically, she is the reason I was able to create a workout routine that works for me. I have always struggled with being consistent with my exercise routines, and Sami Clarke’s content is extremely motivating, and attainable. Many of Sami’s videos are no longer than 30 minutes, which allows me to get a quick workout done before class in the morning. I also appreciate that…
